Starting back up

Next week we will start interviewing people on the podcast.  We’ve got 3 days of them lined up.  I’m excited to meet the artists!  Tracy and Derek and I will set up all the equipment and make sure it all works soon.  It looks like we'll have Meghan Patrick, Tucker Wetmore, Bobby Bones, Jennie Smythe and maybe more on the podcast.

We start our regular gigs on Feb 28th in Corpus Christi, Texas.  I’m using the same gear this year as I did last year.  At least to start with.  We’ll see how it goes.

We got to play in New Orleans last week for a function for the Governor Landry and that was fun.  We were supposed to play 2 rap songs for Fifty Cent but he got sick.  We were ready though!     
I’m playing Sunday evenings downtown with David Black and friends at The Stage.  I’m subbing in for that gig for a little while and I really enjoy it.  It’s a real challenge to remember all those old 90’s country songs plus some rock songs.  It’s a great little band and David is a fantastic singer. 
We’ve been off for a little while and I’m getting stir-crazy so I’m’ looking forward to getting back to it!
